As a 35+ year martial arts instructor, I've been fortunate to travel the world and train with some of the best unarmed combat instructors and innovators.   In 2015 I began to expand that knowledge base to include firearms as part of my response tactics and defensive strategies.

Certified in NRA Basic Pistol and the majority of USCCA Concealed Carry courses (Concealed Carry and Home Defense, Women's Handgun and Self-Defense, Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Levels 1 & 2, Emergency First Aid Fundamentals and Encountering the Mass Shooter), my focus is soley on the defensive skills necessary for Counter Ambush traiining.    Combining my years of martial arts and knowledge of biomechanics in defensive situations (typically a distance of 3-5 yards), I'm able to leverage the 'blend' of physical movement and transition as it relates to self-defense (such as creating space between you and an attacker or protecting your firearm from being stripped away from you and used against you), I bring a unique perspective to the defensive mindset.

The Alpha Defense Academy curriculum is based around understanding and knowledge of four basic principles:

• Unarmed and non-lethal self-defense
• Concealed Carry 
• Emergency medical skills
• Counter ambush skills

We feel strongly that anyone who desires to be safe in today's world needs to be skilled in all of those areas.   Therefore, we have sessions that are classroom specific such as unarmed close-quarters, gunshot and other first aid as well as situational awareness and protective skills.  Many of our classes include all the equipment and gear you need to participate (a professionally developed IFAK or effective tactical pen and knife for EDC, etc.) that is yours to keep, and each piece of gear is selected for top quality and application to the training.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel 30-days or more prior to class, you are entitled to a full refund (less any special or required eLearning fees or custom gear fees specific to the selected class) or you can reschedule for the same class offered in the future.   
If you cancel 29-days or less before your class, you may transfer to a future class at no additonal fee as long as you reschedule 48-hours or more before the class, but are not entitled to any refund. Any cancellations 48-hours or less before a class results in the forfeit of your tuition.

Reschedule Policy

You may reschedule any class that you are registered for as long as you provide 48-hours or more notice.   If you reschedule 48-hours or less before your scheduled class time may result in forfeiture of your tuition.
