Description
The Basics of Pistol Shooting course – Will provide you with all of the fundamentals neccessary to feel safe and comfortable handling, shooting, cleaning and carrying your firearm (if you choose to do so). This is a level 1 course for new and intermediate shooters.

Basics of Pistol Shooting – You will learn firearms safety and function – How to treat all firearms and how to make them safe (unload). We will cover proper stance, breath control, grip, trigger pull, sight alignment, follow through, situational awareness, basic field stripping and cleaning basics, proper range behavior and more…
Expectations and Outcomes
If you are a member, an NRA Certificate will be issued upon successful completion of this course.

Documentation Requirements
Valid Drivers License or photo ID must be brought to class.
Requirements
If you own a firearm and have ammo, you are welcome to bring it to the range. Please leave the firearm and ammo properly locked in your vehicle during the class portion. We will discuss range protocol in the class.
Hearing and eye protection is required.
Dress comfortably and for the weather. The range is outdoors.
