Description

This class is a follow up to the Basic Pistol class where students learn if concealed carry is for them.

The instructor will first review various carrying techniques and methods. If the student owns a handgun and already has a favorite holster or other carry method, they welcome to bring both their UNLOADED handgun and their holster to the class. However, ownership in guns and holsters is not required.

The instructor will spend a large portion of class time teaching and getting students to understand the most important aspect of concealed carry...doing so legally.

Expectations and Outcomes

At the conclusion of the class, gun owners who decide they want to conceal carry will have all the necessary information how to go about doing so safely, responsibly AND legally.

Pennsylvania does not require completion of a safety class prior to obtaining a concealed carry permit. However, at the conclusion of this class, students will receive a "Certificate of Completion". This CoC can be used as proof that students registering for more advanced classes with Dakota Firearms have taken this introductory class.
