UTM Pistol: Urban Threat Manipulation

Description

We don't choose to get into a gunfight with a pistol, but because it’s easy to carry and readily accessible, that makes the pistol platform our logical every day option.  This course is run from a concealed carry posture ONLY.

Over the two days, you will be given a variety of exercises that reflect our everyday environments that will require critical thinking, proper manipulation and shot placement of both static targets AND Live Opponents ( Student vs. Student AND Student(s) vs. Instructor ). You will get to see and experience first hand your actual performance level from day 1 to increased performance over day 2.

The focus of Mindset is directed and talked about with a Elements of Readiness awareness brief.

While this is not a “Tactics” driven class, there will be a heavy critique of techniques shown to increase confidence, knowledge base, and fine tune processing ability.  Even though we are shooting non lethal ammo, there will still be a safety/medical brief.

Documentation Requirements

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

The instructor requires a copy of your Concealed Carry Weapons permit once you register.

Requirements

Students only need to bring a clear pair of eye pro and 2 layers of long sleeves.
