Requirements

Pre-requisites: First Shots Pistol or equivalent.

Be aware of outdoor temperatures, as the last portion of the class will be on the range. The first two hours will be inside the clubhouse, and should be comfortable, but it is a large classroom, so temperatures aren’t always exact. Make yourself comfortable.

What to bring:

If you do not yet have your own, we can supply Firearms, Ammo, Eye and Ear protection, at no additional charge for the .22 pistols. We will have a few others for you to try, but if you would like to rent one of our guns in .380 or 9mm, please let me know, as there is a $25 charge. You will need to add the cost of ammo to your class registration if you do rent a gun from us. Ammo is not included.

I'd like a quick email back with a response from each student with what brand and model gun you will be using, and what caliber.

If you have not yet purchased a firearm for this class, please do not rush out and buy one in a hurry. We'd rather you rent a gun from us and then take your time purchasing the right gun for you. You will not need a holster for this class.

Please bring at least 50-100 rounds of ammunition for your gun. We do not supply ammunition for you. You also may want to bring a hat, insect repellent, and a snack and water. Bring a lunch or plan to go out to fast food, which is approximately 10 minutes from the range.

As stated above, be sure to bring your quality, well-maintained firearm, and matching ammo. ABSOLUTELY NO RELOADED AMMO IS ALLOWED. NO LIVE AMMO IS ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM AREA.
