Description
This course provides additional instruction in the fundamentals of defensive handgunning similar to first-level courses taught at the major shooting academies. This course, when combined with Defensive Pistol Skills, provides the student with the same training as offered in our Advanced Training 1 class.
The emphasis in DPS 2 is in application of skills learned in Defensive Pistol Skills, and learning additional skills such as reloading, malfunction clearing, and shooting from cover. This course, when combined with Defensive Pistol Skills 3, covers all the material presented in the NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home course, with some variations and additional content.
This course is part of the core curriculum of the 40 hour Defensive Pistol Skills Program.

This course is intended to provide graduates of the Defensive Pistol Skills course a way to complete training equivalent to our older AT-1 course.
