Description
This course is an introduction to low light shooting skills. Statistics show that most gunfights occur in dim light, yet the lack of range facilities often prevents shooters from training in the environment in which a potential attack is most likely to occur. This course is intended to correct that deficiency.
This course is part of the core curriculum of the 40 hour Defensive Pistol Skills Program.
Topics Covered
Topics: dim light shooting (no flashlight) with and without night sights, flashlights and other low light sighting systems, integration of handgun and flashlight, live-fire drills, and a roleplaying scenario against live opponents using non-firing dummy guns.
Expectations and Outcomes
This course is part of the core curriculum of the 40 hour Defensive Pistol Skills Program.
