Description
The Maryland Civilian Wear and Carry course provides the required 16 hours of instruction for individuals applying for a Maryland Wear and Carry Permit. This training is designed to build safe, responsible, and legally informed handgun carriers by combining classroom instruction with practical, live-fire range exercises.
Beginner Aspect: The course starts with the absolute basics, including hangun parts, nomenclature, and the four universal safety rules.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have never touched a gun before, we recommend taking a 4-hour Handgun Qualification License (HQL) or a NRA FIRST Steps/NRA Basic Pistol Course class first. This allows you to get comfortable with the recoil and mechanics before this 16-hour course, but it is optional to take.
