Private lesson, Chief Instructor Abigail Summar

Description

For the price of an all-day NRA class, Chief Instructor Abigail Summar will give you two hours of undivided instruction both on and off the range. This private lesson is intensive and will leave you with the tools necessary to improve as a shooter and safer gun-handler on your own. My lessons are progressive in nature; a beginner will not have the same experience as a competitive shooter, but both types of students will benefit from private coaching. The goal is not to sell you endless training, but to teach you how to make every shot count so that you are constantly improving in a logical and straightforward manner.

Gun and ammunition anatomy and nonmenclature, safe gun handling (loading, unloading, field stripping, cleaning), clearing malfunctions and stoppages, range etiquette, marksmanship, defensive pistol

Expectations and Outcomes

By the end of this lesson, you will be a safer and more savvy gun handler, a more highly skilled shooter, and a more responsible gun owner. Your progress after that is entirely up to you, but I will give you the tools to start getting better right away, both at home and at the range.

Please bring a valid driver's license or state ID for our records.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

Don't have your own gun yet? No problem! We provide a variety of firearms to rent, and ammunition is available to purchase at the range, or you can bring your own. Please wear a hat with a bill (like a ball cap) and closed-toed shoes.
