Description
This 8-hour class is designed to develop safe & well-rounded shooters. Defensive Handgun is an Intermediate Handgun for Self Defense that has you moving, shooting, and problem-solving.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Students should have at least taken a basic handgun class within the past year and have a solid grasp of range etiquette and gun handling, holster and safety skills.
This class is a fast-paced, yet detail-rich program. Those wishing to work from concealment are welcome.

Expectations and Outcomes
Emphasis is towards drills and scenarios that simulate having children or family as part of a deadly force encounter and how to manage them to keep them safe.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
EQUIPMENT:
- Working handgun (preferably a centerfire gun)
- 250 rounds of factory ammunition
- Minimum of two (2) magazines, 3 magazines are recommended
- Eye & ear protection
- OWB Holster (Outside the Waistband). For safety reasons bra holsters, soft side collapsible holsters, cross draw, Serpa-style push-button, ankle, off-body, and behind-the-back holsters are NOT allowed during the live-fire portion of course. Contact with questions.
- Magazine pouch(s)
- Sturdy gun belt
- Med Kit (If you do not yet own one please consider investing!)
- Please pack your lunch, adequate snacks and hydration (both water AND electrolytes).
- ATTIRE: Range appropriate attire: long pants, closed-toe shoes, high collared shirt. Brimmed ball caps recommended but not required.
