Description

If you've never held or shot a gun before (or if it's been a long time), THIS is the class for you. This class is geared toward both male and female new shooters. The class builds a comfort level by teaching you about the mechanics of a firearm, how it works, how to handle it safely, how to load it, how to unload it, how to manipulate the cylinder on a revolver or the slide on a semi-automatic. The class discusses ammunition and the basics of defending yourself. Students MAY shoot at the end of the class, but do not have to. Shooting time is limited to a about 10-15 rounds -- just enough to get a feel for how a gun works, and decide whether you want to continue your firearms education. Students routinely leave more confident...and smiling! Note: if you do not have ammunition, the instructor will sell you some but you are better off bringing your own. 3+ hours $90 non-members; $80 members
