Basic Life Support Course

For shooters, having medical training can be as important as having firearms training.

American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) course is great for those who want to learn basic cardiovascular life support skills for a wide variety of settings.

In a BLS course, American Heart Association says you will learn how to "promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED."
