At Frogbones Family Shooting Center Training Group, our mission is to equip responsible armed citizens of all experience levels with practical, relevant, and transferable skills in a safe, ethical, and controlled environment.
We are passionate about developing confident, capable, and safety-minded gun owners. Whether you're a first-time shooter or looking to refine advanced skills, our training programs are designed to meet you where you are and help you grow.
Our courses are carefully structured to guide new shooters toward becoming safe, skilled, and responsible marksmen. Every class combines classroom instruction, hands-on exercises, and live-fire range time to ensure comprehensive, real-world training.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your class registration, we’re happy to offer a refund with advance notice.

Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled class will receive a full refund of tuition paid.

Credit Option: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class may be eligible for credit toward a future class, at our discretion.

No-Shows: Participants who do not attend and do not provide notice prior to the class start time are not eligible for a refund or credit.
We strive to be as accommodating as possible—please contact us as soon as you know you’ll be unable to attend so we can assist you with rescheduling or refunding your spot.
Reschedule Policy
We know that life happens and schedules can change. If you need to move your class to a different date, we’re happy to help.

Advance Notice: You may reschedule your class at no cost if you contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled class.

Short-Notice Reschedules: Requests made within 48 hours of the class may be subject to limited availability, depending on class size and instructor scheduling.

No-Shows: Participants who miss their class without prior notice are not eligible to reschedule or transfer their registration.
We want everyone to have the opportunity to train—just let us know as early as possible, and we’ll do our best to find a new class date that works for you.
Refund Policy
We take pride in providing high-quality, hands-on training and strive to ensure every student has a valuable learning experience.

Before Class: Refunds are available according to our Flexible Cancellation Policy—please contact us prior to your scheduled class if you need to cancel.

After Class: Once a class has been attended or completed, no refunds will be issued, regardless of the circumstances.

Class Satisfaction: If you are dissatisfied with your experience, please reach out to us directly. While refunds are not available after attendance, we’ll make every effort to address your concerns and find a resolution that supports your training goals.

RANGE POLICIES
The Four Universal Firearm Safety Rules
-
Treat all guns as if they are loaded.
-
Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy.
-
Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you’ve made the decision to fire.
-
Be sure of your target, what’s in front of it, and what’s beyond it.
Range Commands
All shooters must follow instructor and Range Safety Officer (RSO) commands immediately. Failure to do so may result in removal from the firing line.
Common Commands:
-
“Eyes and Ears” – Put on eye and ear protection.
-
“Load and Make Ready” – You may load your firearm and prepare to shoot.
-
“Shooter Ready?” – Confirm readiness.
-
“Fire” or “Threat” – You may begin shooting.
-
“Cease Fire” – STOP SHOOTING IMMEDIATELY. Finger off the trigger, firearm pointed downrange. Bench the Firearm. Await further instructions.
-
“Unload and Show Clear” – Remove magazine, clear chamber, lock slide to the rear, and visually and physically inspect the chamber.
-
“Holster” or “Bench Firearm” – Return firearm safely to holster or place on bench with action open and muzzle downrange.
Range Conduct Rules

No handling firearms behind the firing line.

Do not load until instructed.

Only authorized ammunition is permitted (no steel-core, tracers, or reloads unless approved).

If a malfunction occurs:

Keep the muzzle pointed downrange.
-
Finger off the trigger.
-
Raise your support hand to signal for instructor or RSO assistance.
Emergency Procedures

If you hear “Cease Fire!”, STOP IMMEDIATELY. - Follow Ceasefire Instructions

Maintain muzzle discipline and await further instructions.

In case of a medical emergency, the command “Cease Fire – Emergency!” will be called.

Range Layout and Boundaries

The firing line is clearly marked; do not cross forward of it unless instructed.

Targets must be placed at approved distances.

Ensure all rounds impact the backstop.

Q1: What kinds of services does FrogBones offer?
A: We offer a full-service indoor shooting experience: retail firearm sales (handguns, rifles, shotguns, accessories, suppressors) along with an 18-lane indoor pistol/rifle range (15–25 yard lanes, capable of up to .308) and on-site restaurant (bar & grill).
Q2: What are the operating hours?
A: Generally, we are open Sunday & Monday 10 am–7 pm; Tuesday through Saturday 10 am–8 pm.
Q3: Do I need a membership to use the range?
A: No — you can visit as a non-member and pay for range time or rentals. They also offer membership tiers (Starter, Advanced, Elite) which include perks (e.g., free range time, rental credits, discounts) if you plan to use their services regularly.
Q4: Can beginners use the facility? I’m new to shooting.
A: Yes — we emphasizes a family-friendly, safe, welcoming environment and offers training classes for any skill level!
Q5: What rental firearms and equipment are available at the range?
A: We have an expansive rental fleet of firearms (handguns and rifles) and also provide all necessary range gear (ear/eye protection, targets) for first-time shooters or those without their own equipment.

Q7: Are there age or safety restrictions?
A: Standard firearm range rules apply: you’ll need to sign a waiver and comply with safety protocols (range rules, staff instructions). If you’re bringing minors you must be their parent or legal guardian. No person under the age of 10 is allowed to be out on the range. No person under the age of 21 may purchase or rent firearms or ammunition. If you are 18 years or older you may come use the facility with your own firearm and ammunition.
Q8: Can I transfer or return a firearm purchased at FrogBones?
A: We handle firearm transfers and gun sales; for returns you’ll want to consult their specific retail and transfer policies (typically firearms and ammo have strict return/transfer restrictions).
Q9: Is there on-site food and drink?
A: Yes — FrogBones features an on-site bar & grill (named Double Tapp Grill) where you can eat and drink after shooting. Members get discounts at the grill.
